“Can’t connect securely to this page” Error

This page illustrates ways to fix “Can’t connect securely to this page” error when authenticating CORE.Drop.

Drop uses internet explorer to visualize the CORE SSO authentication window. On some computers, the security settings in internet explorer need to be updated for this to work.

A symptom of the issue looks like this when Drop tries to authenticate you:

To fix this, open the Internet Options on your computer. Use the windows search functionality to open it:

Locate and ensure the “Use TLS 1.2” checkbox is checked under the “Advanced tab”.
